The Kuna people are indigenous to Panama and are mainly concentrated on the region along the northern coast that includes the San Blas Island chain. The women dress traditionally with colorful woven items and beaded "bracelets" around their arms and legs.
While there were usually a few Kuna huts on the islands we stopped at, one day we stopped for water and gas at one of the larger islands and had some time to get out and explore.
These little girls were twins - super cute.
It was impressive to see their houses being built - all from wood and vines, no nails or screws.
Kuna transportation...
Crazy birds we found!
