Did somebody say mimosa?!

After two fabulous showers before, one hosted by friends of Dan's mom and one hosted by friends of our mom, Kelly had her final shower in Hinsdale hosted by the mothers of two of her oldest friends.

Ooo I Heard You Were a Wild One....

The weekend of Kelly's bachelorette party snuck up on all of us before we knew it and we could not of had a better time!  15 of us made it down to Naples, FL where Linda had lent us her gorgeous house for the weekend.  No house in Florida is complete without a pool and we definitely enjoyed it!

The house even came with its own mascot...Katie the turtle.  The bride-to-be promptly made friends with her.

After a great afternoon at the pool grilling out, those of us that made it down on Thursday decided to check out some of the bars in downtown Naples.

Friday was another pool day as everyone else started arriving!

We had hired Chef Jay from Dining with Prestige to come make us dinner on Friday night and it could not have been more delicious!

Next up was the Blue Martini for drinks and dancing...

...and of course a champagne toast!

Saturday it was off to Pelican Bay to enjoy the beach.  Golf carts escorted us through the mangrove marsh to get out to the water.

Saturday night we were ready to head back to downtown Naples for dinner.  The obligatory bridesmaid shot :-)

Perhaps the best decision of the weekend was getting a pink stretch Hummer to escort us down to the city - SO FUN!

No barbie pink limo is complete without a smoke maker - right??

We arrived in style and definitely caused a scene ;-)

Garden Party

Thanks to Elaine, Peg, and Jill for hosting a lovely "garden party" themed bridal shower for Kelly a few weekends ago.

Girls' Weekend 2012

This year's Wake Forest girls' weekend was hosted by Laura at her parent's lake house outside of Knoxville, TN.  We had a smaller group than last year, but still managed to have a great time catching up and relaxing.  

It was hot and humid so we spend lots of time cooling off in the lake.
