Bridal Luncheon

Kelly hosted a wonderful Bridal luncheon on Friday.  First we had pictures on the patio....

Kelly had gorgeous earrings for us all to wear the day of the wedding with little jewelry pouches embroidered with their first initial for the girls and a clutch for me. 

 The bridal party had a surprise for Kelly up our sleeves....bottles of wine and champagne for Kelly and Dan to drink during special "highlights" in their next year such as "First time you introduce each other as husband and wife" and "First Kloak dance party".  Lauren made cute labels for each and we each picked one to present to Kelly that had a special meaning for us...I picked "First time you go to Puerto Penasco as husband and wife!"

Let the Festivities Begin!

 Hard to believe that after over a year of planning Kelly and Dan's wedding has come and gone.  It was an incredible weekend filled with family and friends.  We kicked off Thursday night with a Corn and Brat Roast...Wisconsin style!  Of course we had plenty of beverages...including the margarita tiki bar!

 John and Bruce manned the grill while Bob was busy with the corn.

 Several of my parents' friends from AZ came in for the wedding, including Elaine who was "hired" to make her famous bloody marys for the Sunday brunch.

 Bubba and Kathy made the trip from Arkansas.

 Barb and John came in from Texas.

 Vern and Preston flew in from Arizona....Pat just made the walk down the hill.

 Despite a bad back, Ed made the trip and was up for the corn and brat roast!

 Toll, Kennelly, Patrice and Sam came over from Lake Lawn to celebrate as well!

The Fuquays Visit!

Such a busy month!  No time for blogging...time to get caught up.

The Fuquays came to visit is August and it was so fun to show them around the city.  The biggest hits were the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Farm at the zoo.  We had great weather and it was so fun to experience the zoo with the Brooks and Kate!
