GRIP Annual Gala

Last night was the GRIP Annual Gala.  GRIP is an organization that I am fully behind and continue to be involved in and their gala never dissapoints.  Their mission is the father the fatherless, which is sadly becoming a reality in our world.

The model is Life on Life relationships that go deep.  It's where I met my little sister Markida and I'm so thankful for that.  The Gala was a huge success with the donation goal reached!!

Fall is here!





This weekend marked the beginning of fall and was a spectacular weekend.  Saturday we celebrated Gayle's birthday at her lovely new home.

Today we ran the Bucktown 5K, arguably the best race in Chicago, and had a blast.

Savoring the last days of summer

It's a little hard for me to believe that summer is coming to an end in Wisconsin while I walk in the sweltering heat of San Antonio. 

We had Sean's dad come up for cocktails on the deck and a boat ride and were treated to an incredible evening weather-wise.



 

 

 

 

 It was a gorgeous Sunday morning when we got up early to ski.

Another great trip to the Northwoods!

We headed up to Minocqua for a fabulous Labor Day weekend this year.  Kelly negotiated a great deal and bought a paddleboard that we all enjoyed on the calm Blue Lake waters.

 What this next picture doesn't show is the multiple times that Benny switched between the kayak and the paddleboard....he can't decide what he likes better.
