She made an excellent Indian feast and topped it off with treacle cake. Yes, everybody laughed when I exclaimed "Treacle, like in Harry Potter!" It was delicious, a molassas and ginger cake. I sported my UK garb in support of the evening!
No Guy Fawkes celebration is complete without fireworks, so we headed down to the garden for sparklers.
